Finding fossils in Ireland

Are there any good places to find fossils in Ireland (including the North)? I already know S.W. Donegal, in the St. John's point area can turn up a good few finds but are there any other places in the country where you'd have a good chance of finding some?

Also is there any legal stuff I need to know? Do I need to notify any local authorities if I find an ammonite for example or do I only need to do that if I find something big or rare like a whole dinosaur skeleton? (Not like that will ever happen!! :P:D)
