    hi guys

my wife has just phoned me to tell me her engine light has come on and a coil light is constantly flashing as she is driving. the car does not seem to be down on power though.
Just wondering if its ok to drive tonight and does anyone have any suggestions as to the fault?

    regards
    j

coil is for glow plugs isnt it ??? if it is then shes fine there just to warm the diesel before you start it up might be harder to start if the engine cools though , usually engine management is just a warning not critical , have it looked at as soon as you can but not pull over at the side of the road kind of thing , but il let someone else answer you to be sure

I know that in my 06 passat the flashing coil like symbol is the engine managment fault light.Dunno if the same on the Audis?
Probably best to get her hooked up to vagcom anyway.
