Hey folks, I know a few boardsies have picked this up already, and I am trying to get everything I need sorted before my new AEG arrives =)

What kind of hop up chamber is in it? Is it a m4 type by any chance? A friend is always raving on about the Madbull ultimate hop up chamber and I said I would give it a shot if it would work.

What is a good barrel to replace the stock one with? I read somewhere (The take aim review I think) that a Madbul Python would be great in there. Do they make them in 430mm? The m4 one seems a bit too short, ak on a bit too long (Can I just lop a big off the end? What's the best way to do this?

I would like to get a single point sling along this line. I would prefer not to spend 100 notes on a sling by the time it gets here though, so does anyone know of any non-real steel (ie cheap) alternitives?

I am aware that most mid caps will not work in it without modification, does anyone know of a brand (other than G&G) that do? Are the G&G midcaps much good? (Or is it just in my best interest to get a load of decent midcaps and just modify them)

I'm pretty sure it is. I've never owned an Armalite-style AEG, but it certainly looks like the pictures I've seen.

I put a Tanio Koba Hop-Twist in mine.

I'm a big fan of the SA-80 sling, which sort of converts between 3-point and 1-point-ish. Surplus real ones are available from Flecktarn.co.uk for five Queenpounds, and can be attached to the F2000 with a bit of thought.

That's pretty straightforward. It can be done neatly with a scalpel, but I did mine in a hurry in a carpark with a snips and they're grand. A bit of gooey glue later sealed the resulting hole from water and dust.

Its actually a unique hop-up chamber. It looks quite like an Armalite one, but if you have the two beside each other theres some obvious differances :)

EDIT: Shane, how do you find the TK Twist Barrel? I'm considering putting in an order for one for the G2000
