Holdiays, with some loose theme of a cycle...

    Hi Folks,

    I've got a week of holidays fast approaching and I've planned nothing for them yet. General plan was to do some cycling with a friend; but that's as far into the plan as I've made it.

    After deciding m2m was too much off our current lack of training (to still be a holiday; even on a bike; HM is a nut job), we were thinking of heading to kerry to reccie the cycle for the lost sheep, and maybe do some other things while there.

    What the ring of kerry like to cycle? (I've never been).

    Was also considering hitting connemara and cycling the ultra route, just to know what's involved in it :)

    Anyone any other ideas/suggestions? I've not really seen much of Ireland, so wondering what are your favorite bits to cycle/swim/run in?
