I know I'm really thinking ahead now, but I'm just wondering if someone can help me out here.

When do we get out October mid-term holidays in VEC schools?

Is it the week coming up to Halloween or the week after Halloween?

The October Bank Holiday is on Monday October 25th. That would make the mid-term break Monday October 25th to Friday 29th inclusive.

I was under the impression that all second level schools had the same break at October but since you specify VEC schools perhaps there is a different way with them.

No I also think they do, but just added that it was a VEC school in case they didn't. I'm trying to book flights and I can't afford to mess up the dates so I'm just being double sure

it depends on your patronage and individual schools regarding Holy Days e.g. we (VEC) school will be open on that day. However I am aware that Primary schools in some diocese where only rhe Bishop is the patron have ordered closure on All Saints Day and 8th Dec, which they are entitled to do.
