well what i used was humbrol paint (among others), the ones used for military modelling, you know the small tanks etc. you can get that in any good toy store...they come in small tins so you will need a few of them but i found they have a good selection of colours. you will need to thin it out a lot for the airbrush to work, i remember the old rule...the consistency of milk.. i use a paint thinner for car paint i got years ago so check to see what you can thin it out with. i am sure you know this but remember to clean your airbrush really well afterwards. i bought a testors cleaning fluid and never had an issue and i still have all the original tips from years ago. be careful doing it in this weather however, the moist air can frack up the paint, certainly in my experience.

you can goto some of the websites that offer larger quantities but i have not tried them.

i had no issue with the humbrol sticking to metal bodies...once you clean them enough beforehand.

if you need any more help, you could always ping defenderdude...he has a lot of experience in this if i recall correctly...and i think another guy would be puding...he has done some really cool ones as well..in fact it might be worth looking at the thread with the pictures of people aeg's, there is loads of really cool ideas in there from loads of players..

    best of luck..
