PS3 Bundle help

    Hey guys it's my Bf bday this week and he has made it pretty clear he wants a ps3 he was talking about a 250gb bundle deal.
    Does anyone know of any good deals on a 250gb??
    Any suggestions would be huge help as I'm clueless as to what is good value

    €350 will get you a PS3 250GB bundled with a game or two, but unless you say what games he like or if he has a 360 with some game already any advice would be hard to give.

    when you do find one you're going to buy, try to get it with a ps3 with the following Model number CECH-2103B or CECH-2104B , this will be on the back some where and mean it's the newest version of the ps3, uses less power, and is probably more relialbe

    You will get a 250GB PS3 with a game for ~€350. They have a selection of games for you to choose from.
    Other bundles with 2 games for not a lot more.

    Model no. is CECH-2103B, I picked up a 120GB yesterday and model no. was CECH-2103A

    The 03 is the region code


    00 is Japan, and thus NTSC J.
    01 is North America, and thus NTSC U/C.
    02 is Australia, and therefore PAL.
    03 is the United Kingdom & Ireland, making it PAL.
    04 is European, also PAL.
    05 is Korea, making it NTSC J.
    06 is Asia, and thus NTSC J.
    07 seems to be Hong Kong, and PAL...
    08 looks to be Russia, and would likely be PAL.
    09 appears to be China, and the sole NTSC C region type, which Sony created just for China.


    The XX could be a 04 or a 03, if a pal console is bought. i got a ps3 online and it was 04.

    Hey guys,

    I got a 250 GB bundle for €359 with Heavy Rain and then a choice of any other game (Picked up call of duty) in Gamestop. I had a look around and it seemed to be the best value around that had a choice of the game that was unrestricted.
    I asked about the model and neither Gamestop nor Game knew anthing about the updated model. Anyway himself is chuffed and I think I got a good deal anyway so thanks for the help.

    Thanks Varik, the guys in the shop were looking at me like I was thick when I was asking them about it so I am half tempted to print that out and staple it to their heads!!

    Anyway the one I got has kept him busy and earned me some brownie points so mission accomplished I reckon! Thanks again
