I just did a quick check online and I found out the a PC world near relations in London has the iPad that I am looking for in stock.

If it was bought over there, does anyone know how much customs would charge to send it over here?

I dont think anything as Irl and Uk are EU. (I know theres specifics for cars - but I dont think theres anything for electronics.) - I carried mine from gatwick airport personally though. Plus its not like they charge you when u buy something from ebay, just get ur relations to mark it as a Present. or send it by courier.

No VAT or Customs would be payable if it was bought in London. Just make sure there's adequate insurance on the postage/courier, and it's well packed!

Nothing. EEC/EU since 1973.....customs withdrawn sometime in the 80s...
