Looking for a fab ball dress - anyone knows a good shop ?

    Going to the Galway race ball this year ... and have no clue where to shop for a fab fab dress. Any advice ? online or shop ?

    Depending on the budget - a Jovani or Sherri Hill dress. You'll find Jovani in Lara boutique and Sherri Hill in Elliot Chambers in Goatstown. If budget is a bit smaller, try Debenhams - they have a huge selection, just have a look on their site.

    jovani are real show stopper dresses alright, i have a royal blue full length one that i love! lara have by far teh best selection although they also have a great selection in fran&jane in blackrock.

    divine (malahide and maynooth) have a great selection.

    also, check out covet in powerscourt townhouse- the place where you can RENT designer gowns- approx 150 for 3 nites rental, amazing selection- john galliano, marchesa, etc etc.. gorgeous shop.

    where else.. chica is always worth a look- westbury mall.

    You could try the likes of Debenhams, they usually have a good selection of ball gown type dresses. I was a bridesmaid last year and the bride got us beautiful dresses there.

    I bought a gorgeous floral dress by Stop Staring! for the Galway races from here last week: http://www.formosafashion.com/

    Otherwise Soho Boutique in Newbridge do a good selection of evening dresses too. Good Luck!
