    ...how much, if at all, is the 3g/3gs model likely to go down by in price?

    iPhone 4 (16Gb and 32Gb) released on July 30th in Ireland with O2, Vodafone and Three. Prices are still unknown, but believed to be the same as the exiting for the 3Gs.

    3G is dead and 3Gs replace it on the shelves (8Gb version) for probably the price of the current 3G.

    The current 3gs prices are on ALL the carriers websites!

    the 16gb and 32gb 3gs are now defunkt also, they will no longer be for sale from the 30th.

    You can get the new 8gb 3GS at the reduced prices now. I got mine with 02 for e89 with e60 a month bill.
