Ultra light moderators

After years of small steps in the moderator developements we
at last have a huge step. Two manufacturers have come up with a similar
design of extremely effective yet ultra light aluminium moderators.
These moderators weigh half !!! of what previously was regarded as a light
moderator. In terms of rifle handling this changes everything.
Although A-tec started with the ultra light series of a 4 baffle mod
weighing around 200 grams, Roedales new Delta goes slightly under the
200 gram mark with a 5 baffle version.
I tested the Roedale Delta 5 in steel against the aluminium version.
No difference in noise reduction, both seem equal to my ears.

There has been bad press of aluminium Baffles burning away faster than
steel in the past. Question is how fast do they actually wear away,
or after how many rounds would one notice a difference. I am sure the
deer stalker that fires maybe 300 rounds a year will be very well
    served with an aluminium moderator.
Worst case is that after a certain ammount of rounds a baffle or two
should be replaced, these can be ordered as spares for around 35 Euro each.
The other option that Roedale offers is to match the moderator to
the needs, so one can order an aluminium moderator with the first two baffles
for example in stainless steel. This would increse the service life
of a moderator with only a small increase in weight.

I am going all aluminium for now. It is fitted to my remmy sporter
in a carbon stock and a fairly light 1" scope. Just the thing for the hill
or for the long range fox.

Threads are pasted with copper grease.

As I understood, 260 Euro for the 4 baffle and 290 Euro for the five baffle, inlc Vat.

Where can they be ordered from? My father has always stayed away from a mod on his .243 as he didn't want to make it heavy, he would be very interested in this.
