Hi I was wondering if there are any working playwrights who could shed some light on the following for me? whatr should a writer charge per day/ hour..in relation to funding etc. what should a writer charge for use of scripts for stage and radio. any pointers would be much appreciated.

I've never heard of a freelance writer charging per hour/day, it's invariably per word but above all quality.

what I mean is I am in the process of filling in funding forms so how do you go about the financial side of this as a playwright?
