More to the point, what is the IRISH Daily Mail's formula?

I like! Say what you like though, the Mails is a genuine web sensation right now, they are coining it in advertising. You can't beat a clear, colourful mix of xenophobia, womens issues, health and scandal it seems.

The Irish Daily Mail has a somewhat different approach (that is until you get to the common UK material). At times it's almost schizophrenic with articles by Joe Higgins, Scott Millar and Harry Browne and the attacks on Harney, Drumm and the HSE offset by stuff from Richard Waghorne (now gone), Mary Ellen Synon, John Waters and Co. Then there is the completely bizarre "Tales from Inside The Seminary" stuff from Dr Mark Dooley.

I think Senan Moloney is wasted there, buried in there with the Sile Seoige, Rosanna Davison and Miriam O'Callaghan society page drivel, and the other madness, but whatever.

Still, I buy it every day along with the IT and the FT.

It's especially bad lately. The stuff about the iPhone virgin today really takes the biscuit.
