The only one i can think of is the bin trasher (it squashes your bin contents down) other than that i cant think of anything.

Daithi O Reagan setup a website for hurley makers so people could buy custom hurleys. I was at the Entrepreneur show a while ago and he was talking at it and had a stand and seemed to be doing quiet well from his time on the show.

Henparty.ie was on the first season and is also doing very well since being on the show.

Tan Organic got a deal on the show and was also mentioned at the Entrepreneur show and sounded like it was well on the way to success.

Adrian Keegan was also at the show and got a chance to speak about his product, the light in the handbag and his plans for his product and rolling it out this year.

There was also a chap who had a number of products which were handy around the home who was on Dragons Den who's name escapes me and he had a stall at the show aswell.

So a few of them seem to be doing quite well even though some of them didnt get investment, im sure the publicity alone is worth it.

Wasn't the 'Takker' on the Irish DD? Dead handy. Always see them in Woodies/Atlantic/B&Q etc.

They are already being made in China and can be bought on Ebay UK including delivery to Ireland for about half of what this "invention" is selling for.

Even when he was pitching his product you could buy a very similar product but it looked more professional for £14.99 from a UK website.

It'd be very hard to see if they wouldnt be where they are now even without the investment. I always thought the Irish Dragons wouldnt have anywhere near the same clout, and as such the same influence as dragons from any of the other countries.

    Case in point:
Theo and Peter invested in that iTeddy early on, it ended up in all of theo's shops, a fairly sizeable chain. Then it was licensed to something like 75 countries and the chap who started it was a millionaire by the time he was 26

Duncan Bannatyne (I think) is associated with some hardware or DIY store in England, he invested in those non-waste cable ties and BAM! your potentially in every hardware shop in the UK

Sarah Newman says she had a distribution network across Ireland. In reality DJ sells soap and hand towels to schools and offices. She invests in that bin trasher, some might buy one, others might not.

In short, I woudnt see any of the dragons being forces that could turn your product into an international sensation.

while the programme was airing they could be bought in any market and car boot sale in dublin ,the only unique thing the thrasher has is a swivel on the downward arm so its pattented - sarah newmans only investment i believe ?

have not seen them in any shops lately, I wonder if the product / business is a success ? Have not seen them advertised either but hope it, like the others on the show, does well.

The bin squasher things were on ebay from other suppliers for half the price when the irish "inventor" showed his on the show .

Overall, I have to agree the UK show is much better than the Irish one.

Happened to notice the product sitting on a pharmacy shelf on Grafton Street over the weekend. Pretty sure a few of the local shops here in Cork still stock it too. Not seen any sort of advertising for it though, so easy for it to slip from memory. Still living off the 'dragons den' fame I guess.

Hopefully they do a "where are they now" special or two before the next series.
