Does anyone know exactly what this covers or where I would find out?
I'm a T1 diabetic and get my insulin, meter etc. covered, but I've been put on Lyrica recently and it is extremely pricey. As it's being used for diabetic neuropathy will it be covered?

If it is directly related to your diabetes, then yes it should be covered. The HSE has to approve any new medication first before it is allowed on the LTI scheme. Ask your pharmacist to do that for you. AFAIK it just involves faxing the prescription to the HSE and they will get back to the pharmacy with approval or not.
Thats how its its done where I work anyway.

Asked the pharmacy, they got a note from the doctor and applied, approved.
    Cheers Fluffycat!
