Simple 1 Page Online Questionnaire

    Hi Everyone,

I want to conduct a simple one page online questionnaire as part of my primary market research for my business plan. I want it to be an online questionnaire as it would enable me to post it here at Boards.ie and other reputable forums. The questionnaire would simply be used to evaluate whether there would be a strong enough demand for the services I want to offer.

Whilst I have experience in conducting research at both undergraduate and post-graduate level, I have never conducted an online questionnaire so I am a novice in this area. I know there are various questionnaires software tools available but I just wanted to know if anyone has conducted a simply one page online questionnaire and could just lead me in the right direction in creating one where I would be able to keep track of all the results.

I will also be giving out questionnaires by hand to my target population and I will use my contacts in colleges to achieve this so that bit is fine.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

By the sounds of what you're after the free account at surveymonkey might be ideal - it's used by a lot of colleges for online research.

Definitely survey monkey for what you want. You can extract a file that you can export into SPSS (I presume you are familiar with this) so it’s very handy. Make sure you only ask the questions you need to, since the free one only allows for 10 questions.

Hi Penisland thats great. Yes im very familiar with SPSS so thats handy. I only want to ask 5 or 6 questions so its nice and quick. This is brilliant as responses will be conducive to my financial projections.
