Where in London are you going to?

If its east London then the bus from Stansted to Stratford only takes 45 minutes and the flights into Stansted are a lot cheaper than into CityAirport.

They run a reduced schedule from Dublin to London City on Saturdays, so if you are looking for a day trip it may not ne possible, but they definitely DO have flights on Saturdays.

p.s. Cityjet are the ONLY operator who fly Dublin to London City.

cheers man, your time is appreciated...
I went back into Cityjet and its showing flights on the saturday, I must of simply screwed up and while its more expensive, I dont care, as it puts me directly in the heart of things, no tubes required..

Its just for a weekend, as I am returning to Dublin and then trying to get to Chicago.. but thats for another thread.. ;)

Thanks guys for the help and expecially the speed of the information..

Even if you fly into City Airport you'll still have to negotiate the tube to get into the city centre.

Take the DLR to Bank Station (that puts you in the middle of The City) or change at bank onto the central line to get to the West End.

Check the price on airfrance.ie too. Sometimes it has the same cityjet route cheaper.

If price doesn't really bother you then you can get the Heathrow Express train which will get you into central London super quick. You can't really get around London without getting on the tube at some stage though - try it, it's great!

I have just booked to fly over next week.

Cityjet for two adults, direct to London City, Saturday morning till Monday morning, 360 all in. The price you see is the price you pay.

Good flights - no redeyes, both legs around nine in the morning, with no fees for checkin, luggage or even tea and coffee.

I am looking forward to it.

Ryanair came in at 300 but then you have to pay 28 each for a return on the train, not to mention the credit card fee for each individual flight....
