Fight Sports teach Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Mixed Martial Arts, Kickboxing, Pilates and Yoga. They are located on the Kildysart road in Clarecastle.
Men, women and children are encouraged to train in there modern facilities and programs with a respect for the culture of traditional martial arts. There training extends far beyond the gym, with students encouraged to better their lifestyles, diets and choices both on and off the mats. FightSports is also home to champions in all disciplines. There students compete in local and international competitions as part of their training and self-improvement.

Leading the FightSports team and offering guidance and support from Miami is head instructor Roberto Cyborg Abreu.
Roberto Cyborg Abreu began his Jiu Jitsu journey in the city of Campo Grande Brazil. It has led him throughout the globe and brought him numerous prestigious titles. For the last seven years Cyborg has been leading the Fight Sports team in Brazil, the United States, and Canada producing numerous champions. Now the team is coming to Ireland.

Headed by trainers Ger Healy and Fergal Quinlan, the Combat Sports Centre in Limerick offers superior instruction for men and women, a comfortable atmosphere for both newcomers and those already experienced, and the opportunity to learn from some of the best practitioners in Ireland. Brazilian Jiu-jitsu and MMA classes are available for those who want a well rounded arsenal for competition or self defense. Ladies only fitness classes are also offered at the Combat Sports Centre.
MMA
Mixed martial arts (MMA) is a full contact combat sport that allows a wide variety of fighting techniques, from a mixture of martial arts traditions and non-traditions, to be used in competitions. The rules allow the use of striking and grappling techniques, both while standing and on the ground.
MMA Classes are instructed by Ger Healy.who is head coach & founding member of the Combat Sports Centre Ger Healy has over 25 year’s martial experience in multiple styles. Ger is the only CMD Performance Enhancement Coach in Ireland with over 15 years coaching experience. He currently holds ranks in Crazy Monkey Defence, Brazilian jui-jiti-jiu & Taekwondo.
BJJ
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a martial art combat sport and a form of self-defense that focuses on grappling and ground fighting. It promotes the principle that a smaller, weaker person can successfully defend themselves against a bigger, stronger assailant using leverage and proper technique; most notably, by applying joint-locks and chokes to defeat them. BJJ can be trained for sport grappling tournaments (gi and no-gi) and mixed martial arts (MMA) competition or self-defense. BJJ is instructed by Fergal Quinlan, who is one of the highest ranking practitioners in Ireland.
