My computer has gone really slow. I use Norton but have been advised to get a clean up with tool from called Registery Booster from Uniblue. This is downloaded over the net. Is it safe to download if Norton says it is ok?

Have initiated the set up and it has detected 243 infected files. Norton has said it is safe to proceed. The kids use the computer.

I use uniblue and have never had a problem though I don't have norton installed. Uniblue also have a tool called 'Speed up my pc' and another which checks and updates drivers. I use all three about once a month.
Try a free program called MalwareBytes. Worked wonders on my slow pc.
