Hey Guys,

This is going to sound stupid, but i Prestiged by accident. Ok, this is how it went. I was on my 7th Prestige on lvl 70 and was planning to wait there forever. I had so many things unlocked. I had mastered all Assault Rifles, And had completed most challenges. I was having the most fun experience of MW2 i had ever had, as i was messing around, doing nothing. Until last night... My friend was over at my house and we were messin around on the laptop, which was beside my playstation, on youtbe. the computer was loading so i decided to mess around on the barracks. I went into Prestige Mode and i went onto the first two warnings by accident, dont ask me how, i aint no dumbass. By the time the last warning came up, i realised what i was doing and tried to exit out, but for some reason, my stupid ass fingers pressed X on Enter Prestige. So now im 8th Prestige lvl 1. I havent gone on my accound and played a game of MW2 yet since this happened. If you go on me on the leaderboards it still says im 7th Prestige lvl 70.

So what i gotta know from you guys, is there anyway to Undo the Prestige. Remember it still says im lvl 70 on the Leaderboards. If i delete the patch will i go back to my old account?? I really really need your help guys thanks!!

P.S: I know its only a game, but im sad.

No theres no way you can go back. Half the fun is doing it again. Go for it, theres new maps to master so don't feel down.

just do it all over again its more reason to go to 9th prestige and get yet another custom slot

Anyway, something similar happened to me a couple of days ago except my cousin decided to prestige for me, despite the constant reminders not touch my profile and play COD :rolleyes: Though I 1/4 of the weapon challenges done. 2 kills and 12 headshots away from completing the AK :mad:

It's sucks but hey, 2 and a bit hours later I was already up to level 30.

Can't really say nowt that'll make you feel better except as Krud said, at least if you push on you'll get a new shiny magical slot.

Sorry dude, but i don't think it's possible.

Although I'd be interested to see if this worked. Use someone else's playstation and sign in and see what your account is at. It may be a case that it hasnt sync'd with the server in which case you could just format your PS3 and you should be ok.

have you got another PS3 you can try?

There's No Going back I'm afraid, once you Prestige you've prestiged, Besides You did it 7 times already, why not go for an 8th time?

Here here.....just get on with it and you'll be back up to 30+ in one session.

Its not just a game , this is a serious incident , how heartless ya all are.

I'm so sorry this had to happen to you mate , maybe a fall back option will be in the new cod, so this tragic event will not happen again. I would suggest e-mailing activision to make sure they implement this action .

I had a shedload of G points (or whatever they are called) racked up on my old sign-in name for various games.
Got t'internet in - signed in for the first time and then realised all those points were gone - gutted.. for a while.

But what can ya do.

I'm on my 7th Prestige now, and I won't be going again that's for sure...

I miss my RPG too much
