Well I bought a intellinet router to push the strong signal in the kitchen to the office (bad signal) It has usb connection for mobile broadband.

The instructions are v bad (they are for older window versions) they are alot different to the vista windows.

My problem is I can't follow the instructions properly and as a result cannot connect to the internet via the router. The wireless connection is on the pc but the mobile connection I can't connect to (I can only connect when it is in the pc usb)
on the vodafone connections window the intellinet wireless connection is there flashing its signal and nothing for the vodafone net connection..

PLeeeeeez help me if you can, its driving me bonkers

    Just to update my story

Brought back my intellinet router (has usb connection for the dongle) to Harvey Norman with my dongle and they tested it and the router does not or will not work with the vodafone dongle.

Now I'm trying to buy a vodafone wifi router which should work. The problem is I in the middle of a contract with vodaf so I'm not entitled to an upgrade to the wifi. The daft thing is I am paying monthly for dongle connection which is the same cost as the wifi. I am willing to buy the wifi gadget and they tell me its not possible. I think this is ridiculous. I am waiting for them to get back to me......fingers crossed

    Hi Art

I know you brought your router back, but just FYI, the firmware may have needed an update, the newer dongles are not supported out of the box unfortunately. I have one of those routers working with vodafone and three, but it needed the firmware update first

You can get it here: http://www.intellinet-network.com/en-US/products/8837-wireless-300n-3g-router

Thanks for that, it makes sense anyway.

Vodafone are launching a new product soon that you can plug into a mains socket which will provide wireless access to a set number of (can't remember how many can connect) computer/laptops. It can be bought as an accessory....YAY!!

    I'm waiting patiently ;)
