Mileage is very low, prob was a demo model. Demo models are great as they've taken the hit once registered. Dealers generally have a 10% margin on new/demo/ex hire cars on average. I reckon you should get a pretty fair cash deal on this tbh. I think the colours nice personally and auto is the way to go in something this size a big plus for resale

Just wondering if some of you would take a look at this ad and see what you think, 21 seems quite high, what sort of drop could realistically be taken off this for a cash deal.
Apart from that, is the colour slightly tacky or is it just that its not my thing.

That Seems Quite Resonable for the Millage, Spec and Year if you Configure it to that Model and Spec on www.ford.ie its €27,655 New Dont think He Will Budge Maybe Offer 19k & Take 20k

Nice Colour on this car. The price is on the higher end but being an auto would demand a premium pricewise.

why would autos be more desirable than manuals?

I have found that particular garage to be in dream land when it comes to pricing their cars in the past. I know a diesel auto C-Max is a pretty rare car on these shores but I would try and shop around.

Also note that the C-Max is going to be replaced by a new model towards the end of the year so it might be worth holding tight and waiting for prices of current models to fall further.

Any powershift 2.0 I see on carzone new is 38 grand and up.

Edit, noticed its a c max. These are a bit old hat now aren't they? Seem to remember a workmate buying one in 2004, surely it should have been replaced by a new model at this stage

Auto's seem to be getting more and more popular these days, nearly as fuel efficient as a manual at this stage. Ease of driving now that our roads are starting to get slightly better. I personally love Auto's and in the right car (preferably diesel) they feel great

More desirable for people who want auto and will pay extra.

Just to point out that its not always about wanting an auto or not unfortunatly sometimes an auto is a necessity, although there does seem to be a lot more people driving them now.

    Thanks again.
