Just wondering does anyone have any tips for doing a Triathlon in the rain?

My helmet doesn't have a visor bit, would glasses do for the cycle? I'd imagine a peaked cap under the helmet would be very warm.
Also should you bother trying to keep your gear in transition dry?
    And should I consider mudguards?
Any other things I should be considering?
    Thanks

    Heres what i wud do:

My helmet doesn't have a visor bit, would glasses do for the cycle? I'd imagine a peaked cap under the helmet would be very warm. I would just squint....
Also should you bother trying to keep your gear in transition dry? If ur allowed a box in transition put box over ur gear, if not turn shoes upside down
And should I consider mudguards? Its really up to urself, personally I think they look awful on a bike
Any other things I should be considering? dont worry about the rain and enjoy

as you might of guessed, I'm just in from a wet cycle and strangely enough I did enjoy it. Made me go extra fast wanting to get out of it, and kept me cool too, which on a race day would be a result.

Kinda worried about this too......i reckon Galway tri this weekedns is gonna be a wash out! Biggest prob is making the bike leg dangerous on corners
