Hi. I'm trying to get a position as a trainee dental nurse in a practice as am interested in pursuing the dental nursing course by night in the new year and need to be in a practice to secure this placement. Has anybody got any advice on how I might get this when there appears to be nothing out there available at the minute..

where in the country are you?? you could always ... erm.... volunteer or ask your local dentist if you can have a look sometime.

I live South-side of Dublin but would commute within Dublin obviously. I need a placement and it is very difficult to secure. I may have secured a 2 day a week placement but in addition to this, I need to get some more hours elsewhere also.
