    My passport application has been rejected/'unprocessed' today and the passport office are posting me a letter to inform me why.

    Has this happened to anyone else??
    I have travel plans for 3 weeks time. Will I have to submit a fresh application + fees again or is there another procedure?

    Will proof of travel speed up the application?

    Might be the pic or a signature missing/in the wrong place. They're the most common errors.

    No fee for resubmission, but if your plans are imminent, it would be no harm to bring in the form once you've rectified the issue along with proof of travel.
