Does any one really care, do they?

Just seen an advert for sunday redtop, where one, they talk to jordon, about her family, her previous relationships, and life in general. they also talk to peter andre, about his marriage to jordon, and what he thinks of her new man. and finally, they talk to gavin henson, and his failed relationship with charlotte church.

i mean, does any one really give a flying f**k about this, or have we all just became obsessed with celebrety, are our own lifes that empty that we so want to associate ourselves with these people. they dont care what we think, they just want to sell their story to the highest bidder. the papers dont care about them either, they build them up, tear them apart when they fall from grace, and then buy their torid tales, and we all lap it up like fools.

they are laughing at us, if we didn't buy their papers i wonder how quickly then they would be buying these stories. people get seperated, married, and have affiars every day, just beacuse your a celeb, your no different, get over your self. if one of us came up to you and told you we broke up with our girl/fella, and their now off with our brother/sister, would you care, probably not.

Its entertainment at the end of the day, makes us feel better about ourselves knowing we're not like them. Yes they make the money but thats celbrity life, how boring would it be without any s""t to watch or read

the only difference between them and us is, they earn money from their birth deaths and marriages, when did any of the celebs selling their story in my OP earn any money based on real talent.

The fact that certain people need to read trash like that for any reason makes me feel a whole lot better about myself tbh.

Idiot celebs for the idiot masses.

when working or at home, i've never been a "save the rainforest" type; i never print out anything double-sided, i don't really recycle tbh. but the thought of poor trees being used for these fcuking magazines nearly moves me to tears.

Just so we're clear, you don't actually think any celebrities are going to read this do you? :p

The masses love reading celeb gossip, makes people think they can relate to them when magazines/newspapers report on how they're falling apart or making a comeback, no big clever secret really.

Whats the difference between Jordan and a Vuvuzela?

One is a cheap irritating piece of plastic, the other is a musical instrument.

    I didn't actually.

I wouldn't waste my time reading anything about Jordan, or anyone like that.
It would just seem like time in my life which I could never get back.

Please don't come on here and say "we say we don't like them and yet we read them". I have never read them, neither have most of the people on here.

Yes people do care and more so each day. The media are feeding this tripe so that it sells papers, papers make a celeb more popular or at least highlight their lives which means they can charge more for endorsements, appearances branding etc. The more products sold the more adverts needed to sell then. The more popular the brand the more need for more products for the brand. People dream to be like celebs, pop stars etc so what better than have a show where real people are offered a chance to live the life of their idol, and have it so no matter who the public vote for the judges usually have the final choice. You are left with a prime time program watched by people spending money to vote for overrated useless karieoki acts driven by the papers. The one success is flung to the life of a celeb while the 6000 who didnt make it can dream of another chance while they buy the winners merchandice . When you have more stories about celeb rather than real life stories then the stories that matter simply dont. Recently you had the "celeb "marriage split up of Alan Quinlan and his wife dont know her name all over the papers. He is a provincial rugby player not a celeb, you dont see pics of The Bull John Hayes doing stuff. Jackie Healy Raes son was given celeb status for a time? Idiotic.

I feel so happy, and so liberated and free, that I have never heard of any of these people. And hope i never do.

Unfortunatly even posting to this thread is prolonging their 15 minutes.

It's the kind of thing I'd idly flick through while on a coffee break in work and feel slightly better about my life, but no I don't really care.

Just something to gossip about , i find its just something to talk about when i go the hairdressers or something , its something most people have heard or read about so talking about it is just a conversation starter "have ya seen jordans new fella" funny really cause the way people talk about them is as if they are best friends with them :D
