Hi , me and girlfriend are heading to Europe and we have paid for 3 bags going and 3 bags coming back, does this mean that we have 90 kg going and 90kg coming back, reading somewhere that the 20kg per person is spread over all the bags that you book.So my girlfriend has 2 bags so she needs to fit 20kg between both, is this correct?

    Thanks.

Correct. Your total allowance remains 20kg and does not go up with the number of bags purchased. You can just spread it over more bags.

Ryanair actually give you an extra 15kg allowance when you book a second bag. But not Aer Lingus.
