Best Games for XBox Live ?

Just got up and running with XBox live. I have Modern Warfare 2 and have started playing that online
Just wondering what other games I should be checking out for online ?

At the moment these are my favorite Live games.

1> Bad Company 2 is awesome to play as a squad, I've spent 180 hours battling it out with friends and it really is the best fun I've ever had on Xbox Live.
2> Red Dead R. is good for chilling out on Live.
3> If your a Magic The Gathering fan friends have told me the XBLA game is well worth the points as it has great Live integration.
4> Lastly Halo Reach in September will be massive. Beta was a lot of fun!

Depends what kind of games you are into really.

MW2
Battlefield Bad Company 2
Red Dead
Street Fighter is very popular on boards
Fifa 10 or Fifa WC/ Pro Evo altho you could hold off for Fifa 11 in Oct
Few good racing games out there, Forza, Blur etc

Have a look at past threads and see what people are talking about or playing. Loads of threads in here or under the specic forums for games themselves and people post their gamertags etc looking for other boardsies to play against.

if your looking for games good with friends i'd have to recomend bc2 - great with a few friends in a squad and either of the left for deads altough stay out of parties when playing this unless its only the people playing it in the party you reallyu need to work together in the left4deads.

No mention of Borderlands

Great game to play with pals, more so than ramdomers.

Edit: Playing Crackdown 2 at the minute, great if it's with people you know also , not so much with random people.

Both games a little different from the Modern Warfare / Halo multiplayer shooters so could interest you OP

Just couldn't finish it! Got very boring. Although a good friend of mine finished it through twice and will probably post saying so as soon as he sees this post!

If you like your shooters then Doom, Doom II, and Duke Nukem 3D are well worth downloading. Great craic in deathmatches, especially on Duke.

Are you playing with a friend online or just yourself?
Maybe it's just me but I don't like playing co op with people i don't know (any game involving less than 4 people e.g Rainbow 6, Boarderlands, L4D) though that's just me.

Gears 2, Bad company 2, Halo 3 all classic online.

cod waw: nazi zombies is one of the coolest online games ever

I am playing Modern Warfare 2 online and it is awsome
Although I seem to be in groups, ie in deathmatches where everyone else is rated way higher than me and I get killed A LOT
