You have changed from iphone 4 to HTC all ready? You aware you are asking a qusetion about something that is not an Apple Product in the Apple Media Devices section?

If you still have iPhone and it is jailbroken you can use MyWi form Cydia. it will make a wifi area for about 10 feet around your iPhone and works great. I have no idea about the HTC and what an be downloaded onto it.

    Hope this helps?

Where you get the iphone 4?

The question relates more so to the capabilities of the iPad than the HTC, therefor I believe it belongs here, as the iPad is an Apple product.

I'll see if MyWi is available, thanks.

Got my iPhone 4 in Belfast.

Intriguing - if you use that MyWi, would your provider "see a difference", eg, know that you're tethering and make you pay through the nostril for it if you don't have a tethering package? Not talking about downloading films, just browsing.
