TNG Reboot: Casting

If they were to reboot TNG, I'd cast:

Mark Strong as Capt Jean-Luc Picard
Why?? Cos he's sharp, intelligent, and a bad ass. He keeps his cards close to his chest in all the roles he's played, and he's rocking the baldness.

Josh Duhamel as Cmdr Will Riker
Why?? Bit of a horndog, also plays the leader quite well, and charms the ladies.

Joseph Gordon Levitt as Lt Cmdr Data
Why?? Strangely similar features (IMHO). Can play anybody. Has the youthful look necessary to convey Data's "growing up" phase. Can switch from cold to emotional as easy as flicking a switch.

Monica Bellucci as Cmdr Deanna Troi
Why?? Troi has a quasi-French accent in the first few seasons of Trek. Being an empath is an almost sensual thing and Bellucci is sensual personified. She's also a great actress.

Vera Farmiga as Dr Beverly Crusher
Why?? She has a very caring aspect to her, very warm. Always thinking. Suits her perfectly.

Any ideas for Worf, Geordie, (and, godammit) Wesley?:)
