Anyone ever hear people talk about someone having "the cure". I remember someone telling me about their baby having some sort of illness, it could have been whooping cough or something. Anyway someone nearby "had the cure" which involved them licking the kids cheeks - and they were apparently cured soon afterwards.

Is it not that the seventh son of a seventh son (or seventh daughter of a seventh daughter) has a specific cure passed down? My uncle I think has the cure for a twisted ankle and a women I know has the cure for shingles. Hay maybe the cure for shingles is the same cure for warts aswell, it's all the same isn't it? The Herpes virus. Anyways she blesses them where the shingles are so I'm sure it would work but as far as I know they have to be able to touch them so if you are happy with that!! :P

The cure for a twisted ankle is rest, and perhaps some supporting bandages.

Old wives cure for warts; (not sure if it works for genital ones too) is to count how many you have, gather the amount of warts in stones and put them into a bag and throw them away. It works because this is what my brother did, his warts disappeared shortly, then a few weeks later my other brother found the bag and got some. So there you have it. More effective than liquid nitrogen.

I'm not to fully convinced these things work myself, and that's after I was dragged to get the shingles cure to said lady by my dad. It was all a bit strange and they did go away but I think they had just run their course. My mum and dad on the other hand still maintain that I was cured by it. All I know was that I was still in a lot of pain after I'd went to her but within two days it was gone. While I am not convinced that she cured them I can't say I wouldn't go again if I got them. The pain almost drove me loopy so I'd be willing to try anything if that came back.

My brother is the seventh son of the seventh son...I doubt he can cure anything, but he's very, very lucky. Not even financially, but just when he's really down on his luck or thinks it's the end of the line in a particular situation, he always always always comes up smelling of roses....

One day he was walking down the street and he saw a man on a ladder and he thought to himself that man is going to fall off the ladder, next thing your man fell off the ladder.
I think he lives some sort of recluse life now.

maybe hes just told himself he could tell the future,

ie. if i saw a man on a ladder i could make the same prediction of him falling off the ladder, all I needed to do was push him off...:pac:
