Hi I know this must sound stupid bet I changed my Sky contract some months ago to Sky + and Multiroom for a bedroom with a new instillation and a quad Lnb, three of the outputs on the lnb are used by the Sky + so I thought I could use the forth output to another room with my old sky box I also have a Lidl box but each time I connect it shows No Signel am I doing something wrong or is the 4th outlet dead ( when the guy was putting up the dish I asked him to run a cable from the last outlet into my attic but still no signel.

Sky+ only uses two feeds. I presume the third feed is going to your multi-room Sky box.

Just sounds like the fourth cable you are trying to use is not connected to the LNB, or is loose or damaged.

A box from Lidl has to be set to tell the box, which satellite you are connected to. Take your standard box into the room and check if the cable there is working....

If it is go into the main menu and from top of my head...lnb or antenna settings on your lidl box and change it to Astra 2. - 28degrees east and save..

then do a automatic tune for channels..

The cable was conectted by the same guy who installed the sky box so it was a new cable that is what has me amazed that I am getting no signel
