MiWi & o2 Tethering question

    I know tethering has been covered ad nauseum in the past, I have a question about tethering on o2 without buying a separate data package.
    Are there any apps on Cydia or Rock that I can purchase that will allow me use my existing unlimited (subject to Fair usage policy) data to tether without messing with the APN settings or risking getting hit with a massive data bill.

    I see a product called MiWi 4.0 in the rock home screen, does anyone use it? Can it tether using the existing allowance or does it need a data add on? (if so what makes it any different from normal tethering?)

    I don't use tethering enough to justify an extra monthly cost but I don't like the way o2 are forcing all iPhone users to take out an extra package for tethering.

    I like many of us on here opted out of my contract a few weeks ago, can I call o2 and ask to be put onto a (much) cheaper clear package and add a data package to it? Will they allow me do that? I'll call them myself later and ask, just hoping someone on here may be able to suggest the best cheapest way to get tethering on an iPhone.

    Its a JB 3Gs.
