Insitu Caravan

Connecting up an insitu caravan, at the weekend, just has 2 socket circuits and 2 lighting circuits, nothing major.

Is there anything in the regs about earthing this or should a 2.5/4sq NYMJ be safe enough, it will be coming across from a shed into the consumer unit of the van, about 30 Mts away, via guide wire

Thinking of feeding it from a 40A RCBO or would a 40A MCB suffice?

    The van contain a 32A rcd and 2 10A mcb and 2 20A mcb.

if it's swa glanded supply side- i'd prob fit a 2-pole rcd as 'incomer'

the caravan parks use a 'local earthrod' as well

that would keep any 'touch voltage' down and provide 'ADS' via the 30mA rcd if the cpc failed

i'm not sure what rules exactly apply to static caravans-caravan sockets are 16amp i think so i don't think there's a 'main bond' required
