Sitting the test in a commercial vehicle..

I'm sitting my test tomorrow in a long wheel base Nissan Primastar. I'm used to this vehicle and over the last 12 months have done over 10,000 miles in it. Other than the obvious disadvantages, its length, no rear view mirror are there any other disadvantages to sitting the test in a vehicle this size?

I failed the test a few weeks ago in the same vehicle but have since gone to a very good instructor and I'm feeling very confident now.

My instructor says there should be no problems at all but some friends think im mad and should do it in a small car

    Opinions?

    Thanks

If your instructor thinks you're driving okay and you're comfortable then go for it. It is a bit mad i suppose; i mean a small car is bound to be "easier" since it'll be smaller and have much better visibility. But it's up to you, and what you're comfortable with.
What marks did you get against you in your previous test#?

Passed \o/ only 4 marks on the page :)

The tester was full of chat afterwards and I asked him about the van. He said he would nearly expect better driving from someone in a van because of the extra visibility you gain from being up so high!

Anyway i'm off to look at adverts :D
