The Sunday Mornin' Jam sessions

Ok, here's the story. I'm not looking to create the next big thing. I dont want to be a star. Im not looking for paid gigs asap. I have no aspirations beyond some jams and possible occasional gigs well down the line.

Basically, what I'm looking for is other musicians who would like to get together and play for the fun of it, no pressure, no money, no egos, no big time commitment. Just for the enjoyment of it.

Does this fit the bill for you?

The way it would work is we'd select a few songs to learn a week or 2 in advance and then all get together and rehearse them. Then at the end of rehearsal we'd pick another one or two songs to add to the list.
Am looking for a drummer, a bass player, keyboard player, a couple of singers, male or female, and sure if there's any brass players, that might also be interesting. I have 3 guitarists already! (surprise surprise!)
I think this line up would allow a broad range of music to be covered. I'm thinking stuff from motown to swing to rock to jazz and all in between.

Age isn't important, I'm in my 30's. Rehearsals space is in Dublin city centre. Jam is once a fortnight.

So if you want to join the Sunday Morning Jam Club pm me your info!
    Cheers.

I play keys. I'm primarily a guitarist, but I have a Roland FP4 keyboard that has great piano / hammond / Rhodes sounds on it, and can play basic stuff and am prettt good at the hammond stuff. Depends on what we're playing!

Are you up for doing instrumentals?

If you have keys, I'd love to do a cover of Green Onions by Booker T & the MG's

    Hi uniqueusername2,
I could join yous on Sundays..
I got my own gear and play in a couple of bands having 4-5 gigs a month.
This sort of developing jams is something that I would benefit from so, if you still up to it, please let me know?
    Cheers,
    Alesis
