Suspending insurance

There's a period of six weeks coming up where nobody insured on my car will be using it. The premium is pretty high, (learner) so I'm thinking I can save a bit of money by having it suspended for the six weeks.

I asked a rep from Aviva about it, they were unable to make even the wildest guess about how much it might save me. Probably intentional. :)

For people who have done this before, does it actually save you much at all? What have your experiences been?

    Thanks!

You need to speak to someone from Aviva who knows what they're talking about - they'll be able to calculate an exact figure for you. Should be the gust of 10% of your annual premium, i'd have thought.
