Who / What thread are you referring to? It is pretty annoying TBF

its not fair when people repeatedly stir crap, but closing threads that are descending into the mire is fair.

generally when this behavior persists mods will have a word with those involved, if that fails then further measures are taken.

and generally mods dont take too kindly to their process being questioned :)

closing a thread because of stirring sh1t is one thing

I am more concerned that I have seen posts run here in this forum totally unmodded , offering illegal and sometimes inhumane advise towards stock and animals.

Ah sure they provide a bit of craic. There was a fella on the construction and planning forum who got banned within 1 week of registering on boards due to his ranting. I looked forward to seeing his posts:D

Regular users spot these guys along way off. Also before taking anyone's advice you can check their previous posts and decide if their advice is worth taking.

So I agree it's unfair, but when you realise that they are a bullsh*ter you can have a laugh at it!

P.S. The mods seem to do a good enough job. I presume they're only doing it out of interest and not become multi-millionaires out of it;)!

Oh right, I see where yeer going with this one boys & girls, the literary contrbutors are getting really eloquent now.

LostCovey has never expressed a view he/she didn't believe, and has never entered a debate to stir sh1t. Believe it or not. Whether you agree or disagree I have been consistent if nothing else

In fairness, LC has never tried to isolate or target another poster either.

And has never resorted to crude personal epithets.

I am not going to play the bullying card here, but I would not get away with a contribution like pajero12 above, but I suppose Pajero drivers are used to driving over things.

However it's only debate at the end of the day, even if it does get a bit robust at times. If you can't defend your point against criticism, maybe it's time to question the position you hold???? A bit of grown-up mature debate would do no-one any harm.

I will try to avoid wounding any tender souls or blistering any thin-skinned angels in the mean time.

I generally just report the "trolls". My younger brother might post on this account the odd time but he doesn't go near this forum as he is a city slicker.
