What's the biggest game you regret selling?

Apologies if it's been done before... (and the title is crap.. meant to say... "What game have you sold/got rid of, that you now regret?"

My personal ones (I'll try and dig out photo's)..

Arcade Machine - Mint Condition full upright Spy Hunter (my fav game as a child in the 80's).. Sold it before moving.. stupdily enough.. into a house 5 times the previous size, so I would have had plenty of space. Only got 100 quid for it (although i got it for free)..

Pinball - Judge Dredd - My only pinball machine ever (same dumb reason as above), but it kicked ass.. anyone selling one? Sold for 350 quid (paid 250 for it), going to cost twice that to replace.

Ouch nasty, would never sell my cabinet or any of my jamma boards.
Really regret selling my SNES years ago, had tonnes of US games for it.

Yep I only plan on increasing the number of cabinets I own! I do regret selling off a load of c64 boxed originals. Especially Turrican 2 which had is one of my favorite games of all time.

Snatcher CD (US Version), sold it off with my first MD,CD & 32X set years ago...to complete saving for a PS1. Oh how I regret that dearly :(

I will purchase it again, next year maybe.

Sadly I also sold a job lot of about 50 boards (including Centipede, RType 2, Pacman, Toobin, Green Beret, Street Fighter, Asterix, NBA Jam etc etc etc..) and only got 250-300 quid for it on ebay :(

The Spy Hunter cabinet mentioned above was also sold with a new set of repro side art (which cost me 100 quid alone) and a complete spare set of boards (about 5-6 boards iirc)...

Feckin hell Welease, If I sold off all that I'd break down into tears whenever I thought about it :(

Lucky for me, I've never sold games. My mother almost convinced me to sell my Megadrive and games when saving for a ps1..but I decided against it and instead just saved up a little bit longer/waited till it came down to 129 pounds.

Didn't have any money for games though, so I played that demo that came with it for a very long time!

/Edit, bugger, I did sell something.

A friend of mine sold me his NES for 30 pounds about 15 or so years ago. Loads of games, advantage stick and everything. A few months later his little brother dropped around with 30 pounds asking could they have it back. I couldn't say no.

Torrico for the Saturn, did not give that game a proper chance :/

Advance Wars for the DS, when I sold all my DS stuff. That was a fail on my behalf.

Streets of rage 3 pal. That's the only game I regret selling. I don't sell many games, current gen aside, but that was one I did. Only played it for a few months and for reasons I don't recall now sold it.

Now I need it to complete my SOR collection and it is very hard to get cheap.

I used to around to all the second hand shops and buy games to sell on Ebay.

All the rare ps1 games - Kula World, Tombi, Star Ocean, Devil Dice, etc. Plus Saturn games when they used show up in Cash Convertors and the rare PS2 games like ICO limited edition and Marvel v Capcom 2.

Don't really regret it as I used pay 5-10euro for them and shift them for 50-60 pounds sterling. (when exchange rate was .67p per 1e)

Nothing shows up anymore and ebays fees are gone ludicrous but I enjoyed it while it lasted. Every Thursday I used go all over Cork looking to pick up stuff.

    Biggest game I regret selling?
That, in every way possible, would be Super Metroid for the Snes, complete in it's giant box with the giant instruction book/guide.
    Why did I do that?
    Why?

Now I have a cart only with, I think, german subtitles :(

Only ever sold two games, the Darkness on the 360 and Kane and Lynch on the 360 and didn' regret getting rid of either, terrible games.

My biggest regret was giving Gunstar Heroes a lend to some one I knew and the dickhead stealing it on me!

Never lend out stuff unless you are happy to lose them, people just won't put the same value on stuff that's not theirs, lost many great Cd's and DVDs that way, then again I have a few CDs and DVDs in my collection that I didn't buy, but I can't for the life of me remember who I borrowed them off!

Ah I was young at the time and the whole 'treasure games are rare and expensive!' thing wasn't even a phenomenon. Also I was in school at the time so swapping games for a week or 2 was the only way to get new games back then.

The time I sold my boxed SNES and games. Damn it!

The one game that stands out is when I traded in Speed Freaks and got sweet eff all for it. I loved that game..

Bought Narc from Jasons in Ranelagh, got a call from owner pleading for it back, so swapped it for a fairly fresh Williams Smash Tv, which I sold and bought two Bally Medalist slots which I threw in a skip as they were beyond saving!!
Anyone got a Williams pinball? Black knight 2000??

    Poy Poy 2 for PS1

One of the best games on the system , also one of the rarer ones.

Gave the bloody thing away for free cause I was in "I have a PS2 woo, I'm gonna pity my friends by giving them a PS1 game each" Bliss....

I dont wanna have to fork out 50 to 60 euro for it again... but its so good :(

why did he want it back?

Because it was the most popular game in the place which he did not realize until a group of die hard Narc fans demanded it came back!
Nobody liked the way Smash Tv had twin joysticks one to control movement and the other to point and fire, once you got the hang of it, it was actually very easy to control

I've never sold/got rid of anything. (although i don't really have much of a collection tbh but anyway :o )
It's like whenever someone brought up the idea of me selling a game or trading one in or whatever...i'd think nooo what if i ever wanted to play it again :/ or i'd miss it.

Looks like i'm doing the right thing so far :pac:
