I recently purchased a 1000lt plastic water tank, the white ones that come on a stell pallet. Anyone got an idea of how to rig up a tap n hose from it. The cap is about the size of a 5 gallon oil drum cap....anyone ever come across this b4?

Any help would be great, thanks:)

What part of the country are you. I reckon ask your local shop/co op to ring the philmac rep for your area they might have something to suit. They deal in all this kind of stuff!:)

the tank we got had a cover with two parts, the inner part could be taken out much like a gold part of a 2 euro coin wel say and we can shove a rubber pipe from the suction hose of the milking machine wash up and then put a yellow tricoflex pipe into this and then put a 3/4 inch pipe into that , i could be wrong with the milking machine rubber now as we havn't set it up in a while.

What if you got the caps with the tap on the end for use in chemical drums and would a half inch pipe fit on? it would be slow i know

    Hi..
I have two of these feeding drinkers... THe fitting for the bottom of a domestic water header tank does the trick.. Drill a hole through the cap and the fitting bolts through.. It works well as the tank valve shuts off the water if required..

You'll get these in any hardware store
