Grant and Finance Questions

    Hey there,

I'm about to commence a Masters in Queens in September and I'm wondering if there are any avenues I can pursue to help pay for fees and rent and whatnot.

I'm currently in the process of applying for a VEC maintenance grant as I have been receiving that since the start of the course I have just finished. Do you think I'm eligible again?

    Thanks in advance

Yes, if nothing has changed, you should be eligible for a grant for your masters too (if the masters is full time). The fees should be paid for (up to around €6,000 i believe), but rent and whatnot unfortunately is up to you.

Thats great news, Thanks very much.

Any idea if there are any other grants or scholarships available for cross-border studying?

I've heard of some but I think they are administered by Queens so it might be worth asking the admissions office there what the story is.

    Best of luck.
