    Hi everyone,

I'm just wondering what price i would get for my laptop, I want to buy a Mountain bike, and i'm hoping this will pay for most of it.. :-)

    It's a Compaq Presario R3000
    15.4" Widescreen
    Intel Pentium 4 3.20GHz (2 CPU's)
1.12GB RAM (it had 2x128MB and i replaced one with 1GB)
    80GB Hard Drive
ATI Mobility Radeon 9000 IGP Series AGP
    Netgear WG511T WiFi Card
    48x CD/DVD RW Combo Drive
    3 x USB ports

It's in perfect condition, I've never had a problem with it.

I have been offered a price for it, and i just want to check if it's a fair price, thanks to all in advance.

How old is the machine? It appears to be a good few years old.....
Also, how are there 2 CPU's?

Honestly based on the above and possible age of the machine I wouldnt be paying any more than 100 for it.
Has the HDD ever been replaced?

    Hi,

Yes i got a new Hard drive last year, I'm not sure how old it is tbh, but i *think* 5 years old.

As for the 2 CPU's i wasn't fully sure myself, i got the info from dxdiag.

    I have seen similar PC's online without the RAM/P4 3.20GHz for €200+

But i agree with you, i wouldn't pay that for it, nor would i expect someone else to, but i was offered €150 and thought about it..

Would that be a fair price? (That was his price, not mine)

€150 is a price I would defo take for it.............
Its not necessarily a fair price for the buyer as I believe they would be paying over the odds for it........
Depends on your conscience to be honest!
