    Has anybody on here done it? just you and OH go away and get married without telling anybody? or whats ye'r opinion on it

    I don't know anyone who eloped, but I think it's such a romantic idea. My mam would kill me if I did it though!!!!

    I know a girl who's goping to Asia next year to get married, just her and the OH. Everyone knows though, so it's not a surprise!

    I think you'd have to be prepared for the families' upset if it was done on the quiet.

    i dont think either of our families would be upset. wouldnt know where to start though. i know i wouldnt enjoy a traditional wedding here.

    It's exactly what we were going to do until circumstances changed.

    So the place to start would be to think what type of day and ceremony you would like. Tropical Indian Islands, beautiful carribean, traditional & cultural european.

    As far as I know the sandals resorts in barbados, includes a wedding package if you book 2 weeks! It would be great to book a holiday and hand most of the legal work over to an agency. A lot of them do it. Your options are endless!
