My dad has been unemployed for almost a year and I am going into my final year in UCD. I was wondering because of the drop in income that my parents have suffered,would I be eligible for a grant having spent the last two years above the bracket. Help is much appreciated.:rolleyes:

Yes definitely, assuming the remaining income is below the limits specified over here (or quicker to check here: http://www.citizensinformation.ie/categories/education/third-level-education/fees-and-supports-for-third-level-education/maintenance_grant_schemes_for_students_on_third_level_courses)

Whenever there's a change in circumstances in a family's income, if it brings them below the income limit, they can apply. Ring today!
