i have put down product design and technology (lvl 8) in UL as my no.1 choice. points requirments for 2009 was 340 points. what is the chance of the point requirements going up again for this year. please help me

There's always a chance for it to go up or down but for 2007, 2008 & 2009 it has been 340 (according to my data at hand).
If it was to go up (or down) it likely wouldn't be much.

I would say at this stage to stop worrying about it as much as you can. It's out of your hands at this stage with the LC over and the change of mind deadline closing 2 weeks ago. So try and enjoy the rest of your summer; come August what will be will be.
