Error Message on Start-up

    Trying to fix my mates laptop and getting this message on start-up, wtf?

    Your Hard Drive might not be connected properly. When you turn on the laptop keep pressing F7 or F11 its one of the 2 it should bring to the boot menu and see if anything is there, if there isn't the hard drive probably isn't connected or the operating system got wipe somehow

    Ye tried getting the boot up menu but with no joy at all. Just trying to out the laptop up to have a look at the harddrive.
