It's been a fair while since I used Tas books, and cannot remember if you need a registration code to get the software working or not.

Also, how old are they - older versions may no longer be supported by TAS and would reduce their value.

TAS books is a fairly entry level accounts pack and TAS also give away a certain version for free. Like most accountancy packages (like SAGE (TAS's sister company)) they make a lot of their money from expensive add on tech support.

A quick way to get a value would be to ring or email TAS and ask them how much it would cost to buy TAS books 1 or 2 :)

    Hi

Id be surprised if you could. Not without the permission of TAS books themselves as I believe you only have a licence to use it.

    Kind Regards

dbran is correct. Under the software licence the software can only be used by the company to which it is registered. It cannot be re sold to a third party.

TASBooks 2 sells for about 800 quid, so you wouldn't get much for it anyway. Best to donate it to a charity.

The software will only be able to be used by the company the serial number is registered to. It cannot be sold on as an asset or passed on to another company or individual for use.
