Hi , I would just like to ask a few questions about setting up satellite tv.Have been lurking on here for a good while, so this year I want to get myself set up for the new football season.
Just wanted to know if I got this :
    http://www.wizardsatellite.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=33_69_88&products_id=274
and a Cyfra+ subscription, is that all I need to get or is there other stuff I need as well? And would the dish be big enough as I live in the North-West. Any other recomendations welcome.

For a first timer i wouldnt reccomend the dreambox. The technomate packages are good one that they have. Also the Dreambox isn't HD either, the TM6900 would be a great start, plus you'll get the Irish DTT on it.

Sorry to hijack the thread, but I've pretty much the same question regarding the parts I'm planning on getting for a new set up, so it didn't seem worth starting a new thread! The equipment I'm thinking of getting is:
    Technomate TM 7100 HD receiver
    Technomate TM 2600 Super motor
    Icecrypt 0.1 Twin LNB
    Triax TD 110 1.2m Dish
If I've understood the stuff I've read, that should be good enough to pick up everything, and if I choose to subscribe to anything (except Sky UK/Ireland) the receiver just needs the relevant card (and possibly CAM) in order to do the business. Am I right?
Also, just for clarification, I see a lot of mention on multiple LNBs, but I assume that once it is a motorised dish, I'll just need one universal LNB and it will work with any satellite I point the dish at. Am I understanding that right?
