    Do you know what specification it is? I'm 99% sure in 03 there were the 3 engine outputs for the 3 trim levels.

    LX - 90bhp
    Zetec - 115bhp
    Ghia - 130bhp

    As far as I'm aware, the engine series is a Duratorq.

    If you're lucky, the Ford Encyclopedia that is Henry Ford III will be along with the full info.

    If you get the engine code from the log book, buried in the engine which you wont see easily or possibly on vin plate around the door. The codes are as follow -
    FBMA, FBMB, N7BA, = 130BHP
    HJBA, HJBB, HJBC, = 115BHP

    There is no 90bhp Tdci in 2003, I'm probably getting to technical but just in case engine codes for the other diesel variation Tddi are as follows-
    D5BA = 90BHP
    D6BA = 115BHP

    I'm not a 100% but as R.O.R says it's a Duratorq if it's Tdci or Zetec if it's Tddi

    2 points, I had a 2006 2.0TDCi 90bhp. Duratorq is the diesel engines, Zetec is both a trim level and the series of petrol engines.

    does that mean the PS is 115?

    I need a new egr valve and I'm just trying to get the correct specs to order the correct part.

    I was refering to 2003. In 2004 they started doing away with the tddi model and introduced the 90bhp tdci. PS 115 does mean 115bhp

    Genuine ford part number if it helps is 1 333 572. The only variation for 2003 Mondeo 115bhp is Automatic and Manual Gearboxes. The number quoted above is for a manual and there roughly around €220 new (Genuine).
