Possible wow account attack?

    Just a quick question guys.
    When i logged into my gmail account i got an alert that my account was accessed twice overnight from an ip in China and to change password immediately.
    I wonder was this an attempt to hack my wow account?

    I have had the same thing on my gmail too, I changed my password to be saf,e weird though...had an attempt from america too

    when the servers were offline ?
    ignore all mail you receive, if ever in doubt just log into your account through the blizzard forums and never follow a link in a e-mail.

    buy a key fob thingy. or get the iphone app or simular

    Cheers i had gone investigating myself :)
    Looks like the htc hero isnt compatable,i might buy the key fob thingy.

    Hero should be as its android.

    EDIT: that list is for compatiblity with wallpapers and ringtones then anything else.

    Yes but when i try to select phone model from the drop down menu it only has one HTC phone compatible and its not the hero.

    You can definitely get the app working for phones that are not on the list. I remember seeing a guide to getting it working on the Ericcson C902 when it wasnt officially compatible.

    Definitely works on the Hero. Just search for Battle.net on the market.

    just checked and i had that china thing too.

    my wow account hasnt been hacked tho.

    Changed my gmail password to be safe

    Yup i changed password straight away, i got the mobile authenticator up and running now too so that should be that.

    I have some strange emails in my inbox recieved and sent during the times my account was accessed with a weird text and digit format [not chinese text] so someone was definitely in the process of doing something.

    Just download it from market place. It probably needed android 2.1 and hero only recently got that.

    Yeah i have it now,got it from the market, also i had the recent android update.
    Its just on the wow site it said the hero is not compatible, the obviously need to change that as it clearly is.
